In memoriam of Denny Doyle.

It is with heavy hearts that we report that Denny Doyle, a Region Director in the North Zone, passed away on January 28. Mr. Doyle was a dedicated, devoted volunteer for PONY Baseball and Softball for over 45 years.

Mr. Doyle resided in Shorewood, Illinois for the past 46 years. Dennis is survived by his wife, Dee. Along with Denny, Dee was a strong supporter of PONY Baseball and Softball. They both dedicated numerous summers and years to help everyone in the North Zone.

Vice President Steve Miller had nothing but wonderful things to say about Denny.
“Denny was the go to guy for everything,” Miller said. “He was the problem solver. Denny could solve any issue that would arise. I knew I could count on him for everything.”

Denny was a PONY Baseball Director for the Troy Baseball League. He helped build the league and division to what it is today.

Every year Steve relied on Denny being at the Colt World Series. He was Steve’s right hand man. He truly loved PONY Baseball and Softball and everything it stands for.

“We lost an important member of our family in the North Zone,” Miller said. “He will truly be missed.”
