Day Two Recap of Bronco World Series

GAME 1: EAGLE PASS 3, OHIO PROSPECTS 6

The Ohio Prospects battled from behind to take the lead in the 6-3 victory over Eagle Pass on Saturday. A single in the fifth from Cooper Bingham gave the Ohio Prospects the lead.

The Ohio Prospects scored two runs in the first inning when Bingham singled to center field scoring two runs.

Eagle Pass was able to tie the game when Henry Silva doubled to left field scoring one run and when Alex Ruiz singled to right field scoring Silva.

Eagle Pass took the lead in the fifth inning by an RBI from Brandon Alvar.

Julian Tavarez was on the mound for the Ohio Prospects. He lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one.

Alvar got the start for Eagle Pass. He went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out one.

GAME 2: LAREDO, TX 6, LA CAÑADA SPARTANS 5

Laredo, TX jumped out to an early lead over La Cañada Spartans and took home a 6-5 victory on Saturday.

La Cañada Spartans took the lead in the third inning, scoring three runs. La Cañada Spartans had two runners on base who both drew walks. Caiden Kennedy hit a single, scoring one run. Joe Bell hit a double to left field scoring a run. Taylor Parrille had an RBI bringing the score 4-1 La Cañada Spartans with the lead.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Laredo, TX battled back. Frankie Cantu singled to left field scoring one run. Followed by a double from Aaron Castillo scoring another run. Michael Guerra hit a double scoring two more runs, putting the game into extra innings.

Two singles from David Onfre and Noel Camarillo put runners on base for Laredo, TX in the bottom of the tenth. Onfre successfully stole home giving Laredo, TX the win.

Camarillo was on the mound for Laredo, TX. He lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out two and walking one.

Kennedy got the start for La Cañada Spartans. He allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out two and walking one.

GAME 3: DEER PARK, TX 4, LA CAÑADA SPARTANS 14

La Cañada Spartans was victorious over Deer Park in a 14-4 win on Saturday.

Deer Park opened up scoring in the first inning, when Samuel J hit an RBI.

La Cañada Spartans evened things up at two in the bottom of the first inning. La Cañada Spartans scored one run when Scotty B singled.

La Cañada Spartans had a strong second inning giving them the lead and never looking back. A dropped third strike scored N Pieper. Two more passed balls allowed La Cañada Spartans to score two runs.

La Cañada Spartans tallied six runs in the sixth inning. Scotty, Fritz P, Trevor R, and Joe all had RBIs.

Joe was on the mound for La Cañada Spartans. He lasted four innings, allowing one hit and four runs while striking out three.

Jack P started the game for Deer Park. Jack allowed eight hits and eight runs over five innings, striking out five.

GAME 4: PIONEER YOUTH BASEBALL 4, EAGLE PASS 10

 Alexandro Mallen drove in four runs on two hits leading Eagle Pass past Pioneer Youth Baseball 10-4 on Saturday.

Pioneer Youth Baseball scored three runs in the seventh inning, but Eagle Pass still managed to pull out the victory. Pioneer Youth Baseball bats were led by Gavriel Trevino and Kaleb Gallegos.

Eagle Pass added five runs in the sixth inning. Single from Mallen, Brandon Alvar, and Henry Silva helped.

Alvar was on the mound for Eagle Pass. He gave up one run on one hit over three innings, striking out six.

Elijah Ramirez got the start for Pioneer Youth Baseball. He went five innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and striking out three.

Carlos Solis led Pioneer Youth Baseball with two stolen bases.
