Day Three Recap of Palomino World Series

GAME 9: YOUNGSTOWN, OH 8, BROWNSVILLE, TX 3

Youngstown, OH was able to come from behind and win 8-3 over Brownsville, TX on Sunday. In the bottom of the fourth inning, L DiBeradin hit an RBI to center field scoring the tying run.

Singles from Jose Gutierrez, Angel Solis Jr, and David Benitez gave Brownsville, TX their three runs of the game.

A grand slam from Gage Gilliot gave Youngstown, OH the lead 7-3 in the fifth inning.

Aiden Kelly got the start for Youngstown, OH. He pitched three innings, allowing three runs on three hits.

Angel Larranaga was on the mound for Brownsville, TX. He allowed eights and seven runs while striking out two.

Gilliot and Gavin Miller each had multiple hits for Youngstown, OH.

 

GAME 10: PUERTO RICO 5, LAREDO, TX 2

Puerto Rico didn’t give up when Laredo, TX had the lead for the first three innings.

Puerto Rico capitalized on a walk when Jankel Ceballos double to left field scoring the lead run on base. A walk and a fielder’s choice gave Puerto Rico the lead.

Juan Milera was on the mound for Laredo, TX. He allowed three runs on three hits and struck out five.

Laredo, TX collected hits from Ciro Banavides, Arturo Garcia, Daniel Salas, and Joel Garcia.

Jorge Rivera got the start for Puerto Rico. He gave up three hits and one run, striking out four and walking two.

 

GAME 11: AROMA PARK 12, APPLE VALEY 8

Both teams put up a lot of runs, but Aroma Park came out victorious.

A single from Justin Driggers and two walks gave Apple Valey bases loaded in the second inning. Anthony Youngblood Jr singled to center field scoring one run. Jacob Martinez singled to right field scoring one run. A bases load walk added another run. A single from Kaden Duffy and an RBI from Isaiah Hernandez brought the score to 7-2.

Four walks and singles from Samuel William, Hunter Adams, and Alex Juarnich gave Aroma Park the lead in the third inning.

Alexander Willis was on the mound for Aroma Park. He pitched one inning, allowing seven runs on three hits and striking out two.

Ray Zamora was on the mound for Apple Valey. He allowed seven runs on three hits and struck out two.

Jacob Martinez went 3 for four for Apple Valey.
