In memoriam of May Rowell

It is with heavy hearts we report the passing of May Rowell.

She had been involved with PONY Baseball and Softball for over 35 years. Rowell served many positions throughout her time with PONY. She started coaching with her husband Fred Rowell. Next, she served as a Field Director and quickly moved onto Regional Director. Rowell served on the Softball Committee as well.

Through her hard work and dedication May received many awards, South Zone Director of the Year and the Joe E. Brown Award. In addition, she is on the Wall of Fame at the PONY Baseball and Softball Museum.

May will be deeply missed and our dearest sympathies go out to all who knew her. Read full obituary here.
