Japanese Pony Baseball Association

Chicago Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga has been appointed as the official supporter of the Japanese PONY Baseball Association. Earlier this month, Imanaga met with PONY Baseball and Softball Asia Pacific Director Yamu Nasu in Chicago.

Imanaga made a donation to help support the Asia Pacific Zone Tournament in Philippi in June. The donation helped covering expenses for teams and and umpires.

"I want to have a broad perspective that doesn't stay in Japan, and have a strong experience," stated Imanaga.
